We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. All these portraits against a seamless aren't normally my thing, but this one caught my eye.

I love the irregular shapes - the tie, the earrings (especially the earrings) and, contrary to ~nightwish's comment, the border - I think it links in well, and is rather subtle to boot.
What really makes this work is how much his face stands out - the only grey in a land of pure black and white. That, and the conceptual contrast between the secret agent suit and vicious cut outs and tears - both hinting at extreme violence - compared to the massive grin and kooky shades, and the crazy hair. A truely diametric shot.
